Moview Review: Get Out

This movie was the most talked about movie when it came out and I just had to see what the hype was about. One of the best decisions I have made. It was a mixture of suspense, action and comedy. It was about this black guy who was dating a white girl and she invited him to meet her parents and she pretended that she didn't know her family was having an event that same weekend he was there. But she was behind it the whole time. Her family was basically hypnotizing black people and taking over their body so that the older folks could get all their strengths. The main character has a keen eye and a blind man wanted that. So it was a really interesting movie and I highly recommend that you all check it out.

NOTD #5: La Colors Masquerade

Hey Guys we are at the end of yet another month. I am honestly shocked as to how fast time is flying by. I have been obsessed with this nail polish lately from L.A. Colors Color Craze Gel in the shade Masquerade. The only thing I don't like about the brand is that the brush is too thick so the polish comes out on the sides of the nails. I know it is easy to clean up but I rather not have to do that.

FOTD: Carnival Sunday

For Carnival Sunday, I did a really pretty glitter look. It wasn't anything too extra because I was just going to watch kiddies mas.

The colours I used were from a Coastal scents palette, a jet setter palette and a beauty treats palette. The glitter was from Ambrosia Cosmetics and the name of it was Gold Spell.

P. S. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms.

Mega Growth Profectiv Products For Relaxed Hair

I first relaxed my hair when I was twelve (12) years old. My mom actually did it so it wasn't completely straight. I started off using Motions products but because my hair was so thick and it still is, the motions product wasn't working great at all. I also tried dark and lovely but the container of relaxer finished before it was spread to my whole hair. Soon after Mega Growth Profectiv came out with their line and I have been using their products ever since. Not every single product they have works for me so I don't own all the products. But I still swear by their brand, my hair has definitely gotten longer. But you need a great hairdresser and also you have to take care of your own hair as well.

Even though I have the edge control, it doesn't work for me at all. So I do not recommend it. I actually use the Murray's Edgewax but it has been out of stock every where I go and I decided to resort to using the Mega Growth brand instead.

Products I currently own from the brand:

  • Shampoo & Conditioner

  • Oil

  • Sheen Spray

  • Polisher

  • Revitalizer

  • Edge Control

The top 5 editing apps for android phones

Hey guys, I have decided to take a two month hiatus because I needed some time to brainstorm ideas and I also haven't been feeling to write lately. But I am back and better than ever and I hope you guys are doing great.

I have been team android android for the past couple of years. So i wanted to share with you the top 5 best editing apps for android. I do have more than 5 editing apps on my phone which is shown below in the screen shot. But I wanted to talk about these five (5).

In no particular order:

  • PhotoGrid - I use this app for everything, For my filters, collages, to crop my pictures in order to post them to instagram, etc. The photos below wasn't edited, they were just put into collages, hence no before pictures

  • PhotoEditorPro - I also use this for the same reason I use PhotoGrid

  • Piclab - This app comes with little writings and designs and I use it to add an extra touch to my pictures

  • Airbrush - I use this app for all my imperfections. To concealer my under eye, to smooth out my face and take off the shininess on my face

  • Blur - I use this to blur out my background or anything I don't want to show

Life after university

Good Morning Guys and Happy Sunday!!! I hope you all had an amazing weekend like I did. And it's still not over yet. I am about to go to my cousin's house for a pool lime today.

I recently finished university about a month ago and honestly it has been horrible. I have looked high and low for jobs. I have sent out a million resumes before I even finished school and still nothing. Because I don't have any experience it makes it even harder.

The way how the economy is set up as well also makes it challenging. A lot of people have been let go from their jobs. The only places that might be hiring is fast food outlets and clothing stores. The corporate world is the hardest to get into right now.

But patience is a virtue. Never give up on what you want to do. Keep pushing forward and believing, Have faith. Nothing happens before it's time. Nothing in life comes easy.

For this past month I have just been at home enjoying my mini vacation and I hope something comes up soon. I do plan on going back to school but it wouldn't be until 2018 or 2019 once god spears life. Thank god I have an understand mother who helps me out.

I hope everyone has an outstanding week ahead.
