Good Morning guys. Happy Sunday. For the past three months I have been buying numerous items so i decided to put them all together in one blog post.


Romwe

I heard about this site through another blogger called candace hampton aka thebeautybeau.com. I admire her a lot so when she posts Ootd's I look to see where she gets her clothing from so I can shop there as well. I really value her opinion when it comes to fashion. So I decided to shop there for some items and also they had a 60% off your first purchase deal. I ordered four items from them. When I check my bank statement I saw that they took out the entire amount I immediately emailed them and they told me only some items qualified for it. Now no where said that not even in fine print. I was pissed. They also shipped the items two by two. When the last two came, one of the tops was nothing like the picture. The material was totally different. I would never remember buying from this site. It was a total waste of money.

Ebay

I bought some stuff from ebay in the past so I was not worried at all when it came to purchasing. I ordered two phone cases. One for my sister and I. I also ordered two eos lip balms for my sister and I as well.

Pennywise

This is a local store I have in my country where I get all my beauty products from. Every month end I buy items that I need to restock up on. Here is picture of what I may buy on a monthly basis.

Wonderful world

This is also another local store with beauty products. But they have a wider variety of stuff. I am obsessed with this store. I even got a loyalty card because I shop there all the time. Here are some of items I purchase there on a regular basis.

Movie Review: Pitch Perfect 2

Last weekend (Saturday), my neighbour invited me to go see a movie with him but I wasn't sure if I would be able to go because I had a hair appointment that day. I was scheduled for 11 but my hairdresser didn't start till 1 p.m. I got home at 6:30 p.m. But my neighbour said that he borrowed a car and he had it until the next morning. Even though I was tired after a long day I still decided to go because I wouldn't have to worry about travelling back home late at night.

I told him upfront that I wanted to see Pitch Perfect 2. I loved the first part. Especially the cup song and of course fat amy. Lol.

Pitch Perfect 2 was great. I loved it. It had a lot of comedy pieces in it. Fat Amy was also a big highlight in the movie as well. She never ceases to amaze me with her acting. It was truly amazing. The song choices in the movie was well put together as well. They also sang the cup song and I had a big grin on my face and was silently singing along while they were singing it. I hope my neighbour didn't notice. Lol. I recommend seeing Pitch Perfect 2. It is a chick flick so maybe it's best to carry your girl friends rather than your guy friend or boy friend. My neighbour was pretty cool about it though. He actually enjoyed it.

Boardwalk Lime (My cousin's b'day)

Last week Saturday was my cousin's birthday. She decided that she wanted to take my idea and have a lime on the boardwalk with friends and family. We orignally planned to meet at 7 p.m but as girls and also trinidadians we are never early lol. So we all didn't meet up until 9 p.m. We then made our way down and stopped at a gas station so we could buy some stuff at the quick shop. We got to the location and we immediately ate before we started having any kind of alcoholic beverage. We were playing music and talking. We also started walking along the boardwalk as well and just was having a great time. I had a really great night despite my cousins teasing me with a dead cockroach lol. We got home at 4 in the morning and I didn't wake up till 11 that day.

School starts back on Monday. I only have one class to do this semester. I am doing over my management class. For the short semester one class is two days. So my class is on Mondays and Wednesdays. I hope all goes well. Hope you all have a productive week ahead.

School Update #1: End of semester

Good Morning and Happy Sunday. The semester ended on Monday 18th of May for me. I had three finals. Principles of Management, Intermediate Cost Accounting and Statistics. This semester was extremely hard. I have been battling with depression for a long while now and it has been taking a toll on me as well as on everything I do. It felt like this semester was extremely long. I had some interesting lecturers and classmates this semester.


MANAGEMENT

My Management class was every Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. My lecturer was really unfair and she made the exams and assignments extremely hard. This isn't the first time I have come across a lecturer like this where they make it hard for the students because it wasn't easy for them. There was a lot of information to learn and remember. This was basically a heavy reading class. I actually failed this class so I have to do it over in the upcoming semester


ACCOUNTING

I had my Accounting class on Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m. My lecturer for this class was pretty cool. He made it easy for us to understand the material. He said that grades don't define us which is true.
I would highly recommend him to other students. I was impressed by his teaching. I wasn't finding the time to really study so I failed this class.


STATISTICS

This class was on Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m. Where do I begin with this class. This is one of the most challenging Mathematics class I have ever had. I always question myself when are we going to ever use this in real life. It is ridiculous and unnecessary. My lecturer needs to learn how to explain the work better and also work with time. He was behind a lot so we didn't even have to time to go over the material before the final exam. The week before final exam is revision week. We used that class to finish the syllabus. But after doing the final exam it wasn't really hard at all. But I would not recommend him as a lecturer. I passed this class.

Even though I am pretty devastated about failing two classes. I am trying to look at things differently and take it as an opportunity to do better. I already registered for classes. I only have one class in the short semester which is just two months. I am doing over my management class on Mondays and Wednesdays. For the short semester each class is two days.

Day in the life #1: What My Typical Saturday Looks Like

I forgot to take out a picture of my breakfast but I just had milk and cereal.

1. I always watch my clothes on a Saturday morning. I never have a lot because when I get home I bathe and put on pajamas.

2. I was waiting on the clothes to spin dry in the washing machine. So I decided to listen to some music and also catch up on YouTube videos.

3. I was watching one of my favourite vloggers Jayla Koriyan. I am obsessed with her videos. I love how real she. I can honestly relate to her.

4. After I had a bath and washed my hair. For my birthday I had in weave and I left it in for 2 weeks. It was time to take it out. My hair was very dusty and the weave was started to get tangled up.

5. I had lunch which my mom cooked because I don't know how to. I know it's ridiculous. I am 22 years old and I don't know how to cook. But I honestly want to learn.

6. I have one more final tomorrow. So I have been studying for it. It is Statistics. One of the hardest maths classes I have ever had.

7. I also had to do an online exam for my Statistics class. So I was using both the desktop, laptop and my notes to help out.

This week has been pretty challenging for me. I had a few depressing days but I have thought about the stuff that is bothering me and I have decided to make a change. I just want to let you all know that you must never put anyone down because you never know what they may be going through. They could have the biggest smiles on their face and be hurting the most. I know because I do this a lot. Have a great week. Always remember that you are enough.

NOTD 2: Birthday Nails

I celebrated my birthday last week Wednesday on the 29th of April. I don't do my nails often because after a while I get annoyed with it and it becomes really uncomfortable. But for special occasions I go out of my way and get them done. Especially when I know I deserve it. This was my birthday nails. I am absolutely in love with it. Thanks to my nail technician for doing a great job. 

Happy Mother's to my mother and to all the moms out there who are doing eveything in their best interest to make their kids happy.

My Birthday Celebrations

I celebrated my birthday on Wednesday 29th April. I turned 22 years old. On that day I just had cake & ice cream with my family & friends. My co-workers gave me a makeup set & a card for my birthday. I had huge plans on Saturday 2nd May to go on the boardwalk with friends and family but a couple of people wasn't going so I had to cancel it because it would have been too much money for me to pay for the rest of seats because we hired a big maxi. So I ended up spending my Saturday going shopping with my best friend. I ended up piercing my nose again. I did it about 2 years ago but I had to take it out because it wasn't allowed where I used to work. I then went to my uncle's home. After we all went to pizza hut. We had a great night with a lot of jokes & laughter. And then we ended up going on the boardwalk and walked for a while. I had a lot of fun. I hope you all had a great weekend.
