Christmas + What I'm looking forward to in 2017

Christmas as always has just been the same for the past couple of years. It felt to me like it was just another day. I didn't really take any pictures because nothing really happened. 

The year of 2016 wasn't good for me at all. There were a lot more downs than ups in 2016. But I am thankful for being alive and well and being able to see another year.

Happy New Year!!! I hope you all had a blast last night bringing in the new year. As always I bring it in at home with family.

I finished my last class last semester so I am officially finished with school. Now I can dedicate my time to something else. I have been unemployed for the past three months so that is definitely the first thing on my list. This year will be a year of relaxation for me. I don't plan on going back to school any time soon. After I get financially stable I definitely want to start going to the gym. I also want to build my makeup collection and practice a lot more. I can do a lot of things when it comes to makeup but I need a better quality camera so I can take out better pictures. I am hoping to invest in a Iphone 7 this year. I don't want to call these resolutions because I can never stick to them. But I am looking forward to accomplishing them.

Semi Annual Favourites

Good Morning and Merry Christmas Everyone. I hope your morning started off great. As usual I always watch the Christmas Day parade and then I just chill in bed until lunch is ready. After my family and I eat lunch some of us go to sleep and some of us just chill. I will be finishing watch the rest of vlogmas videos in my YouTube subscription box. As I get older I have stopped getting gifts so I didn't get anything. But I hope everyone got what they wanted and I hope you all enjoy the rest of your day.

As the year is coming to an end I wanted to share with you guys my semi annual favourites video styled. I hope you all enjoy.

Hot Chocolate

Last year Christmas Eve night was the first time I made hot chocolate so I decided to make it an annual tradition. The picture below is what I made last year. I will definitely be doing it again on Christmas Eve this year. What traditions do you and your family have during the holidays?

Happy December!!! I can't believe how fast time is flying. We are in the last month of 2016. This is the best time of the year. The holiday that everyone looks forward to. About two months ago my family and I bought these Christmas decorations at our community's annual harvest because they were on sale. Have a look!!!

I would rather nice hair and no makeup because your hair makes a big difference to the way you look and I have done this many times.

I would rather shave my eyebrows because it could be drawn on.

I would rather shop at Sephora because they are more affordable and they also have a wider range of stuff.

I would rather have an 80's perm

I would rather have an overdone blush because I just hate seeing that obvious foundation line look.

I would rather wear biker shorts they obviously look nicer lol.

I would rather have weird tan lines that isn't bad if you think of it.

I would rather a bad haircut that will be easier to hide.

I would rather twitter because I am hardly ever on twitter but I like on youtube.

I can give up mascara because it has eyelashes.

Perfumes/ Body Sprays

I am not much of a perfume collector. But I love smelling good so these are the perfumes/ body sprays I currently own. From left to right: Bath & Body Works Strawberry and Vanilla, Colour Me Pink, Avon Timeless and Bath & Body Works Brown Sugar and Fig. They all smell amazing.

A couple of weeks ago was my cousin's surprise birthday party and I decided to pick up a few things for that night. Here is a little haul video with what I bought.

Ombre Grey Hair

The entire year of 2016 I decided to give my hair a break from relaxer because my hair was extremely damaged so I had in weaves and braids all year round. I am a very experimental person when it comes to changing up my hair. I like trying new things so I decided to do my hair in ombre grey crochet braids. It was the best decision I ever made. I am so obsessed with this look. I know many people wouldn't use grey because it is a weird colour to put in your hair. But I loved it. I only had it in my hair for a month because my roots was growing out really fast and the black was showing up plenty. But this is definitely a colour I will want to put back in my hair. I got countless stares with this hair colour some were positive, some were not. But everybody's fashion sense is totally different.

I highly recommend if you really like something whether it is a hair colour or an outfit despite what people may think or say just own it. Do you. Everybody has different opinions. 

What's in my makeup bag

I wanted to do something different so I decided to record a what's in my everyday makeup bag. I couldn't edit it so some things might be repeated because I combined different clips together. My phone was only over heating and the video was shutting off. The video was also too long to upload so I had to split it up so I hope you guys enjoy. In the near future I plan to do more video posts so eventually I will be able to edit them.

Confessions of a YouTube Addict

I have been single for the past year so I have had a lot of down time. So all I have been really doing is watching YouTube videos. I know it sounds bad but it's basically my hobby. I enjoy watching videos of random people adventures and seeing what they do on a regular basis. My favourite kind of Youtube videos is vlogs. At first it started off as makeup which I have been really getting back into lately so vlogs is basically on the same level as that. But I watch other stuff as well like morning routines, hauls, getting ready with me and comical videos. 

When I used to work I would watch videos all day. At that job I never really had much to do so I had a lot of spear time on my hands. But I enjoy watching videos and catching up with other people as they go about their day because I feel like I don't really have a great life, I don't really enjoy it as much. A lot is going on so it's had to be happy but I am thankful for life. So by watching these videos it takes my mind off of everything.

Now that I am unemployed I have even more time on my hands so go figure.

What it is like having penpals

Some years ago I was really bored at home and I wanted to pick up a hobby so I decided to try snail mail. So I checked out interpals.net. And ever since I have been writing letters to people from different parts of world. As a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago I can tell you that their is not much things to do in this country. So I really wanted a hobby that would not pick up too much time.

In this modern day I know a lot of people don't partake in stuff like this but I enjoying doing it. I get to meet amazing peole, hear amazing stories and learn about a lot of different cultures. It could become a bit time consuming sometimes but I still love it. 

I definitely want to start sending gifts and postcards as well. It's an amazing feeling when you receive something from someone so I definitely want to start doing that. You all should definitely check out interpals if you are interested in stuff like that.

Recap of New Season (Big Bang Theory, Etc)

Good Morning, I hope you all had an amazing week. I have really gotten into watching television lately and I wanted to do a recap of the new seasons that started this fall.

BIG BANG THEORY

The first episode started off really interesting. Penny and Leonard was remarrying because when they originally did they eloped. So they both invited their parents as well as the rest of the gang to witness it. In the last episode Leonard's father and Sheldon's mother decided to have a night cap and Leonard's mother was furious about it. So there were a lot of chaos and confusion surrounding that particular topic.

SCREAM QUEENS

The first episode was rather confusing for me because the last episode of the first season it showed that there was a red devil over Chanel Oberlin's head. But in this new season they completly neglected that so I was confused about that part. As the episode started they showed something that happened in the past so when I saw the costume I automatically knew that, that was going to be the costume for the new killer. But this season is based in Dean Munsch hospital. Where she has two doctors such as Dr. Cassidy Cascade who is played by Taylor Lautner which I am extremely excited about because I haven't seen him act in a while and also Dr. Brock who is played by John Stamos which I love as well. And then there is the return of Zayday Williams, Chanel Oberlin, Chanel #3 and Chanel #5. The ending of the episode was interesting because the killer chopped off one of the patients head and then there was another chop heard as well but they didn't show who it was but Chanel #5 was in the room as well. She makes the show extremely great so I'm hoping they don't kill her off.

EMPIRE

This was the best episode of a new season that I have ever seen. In the last episode of season two Rhonda and Anika aka Boo Boo Kitty were fighting on the balcony and were both close to falling over and then Andre came and saw them and it ended right there. So it started off where hakeem ran out because his bride left him on the alter and moments later Rhonda fell on top of a parked car. I was so upset and sad. Then Andre started choking Anika and her water bag broke so he lifted her up and carried her away. But I was pleaed as to how this episode was and I can't wait to see what will happen in the rest of the season.

Semi-Annual Favourites

Hello everyone! Welcome back. I decided to take a little break from blogging but I am back today with my favourites. I decided that I will do these semi annually so in that way I will have a wider variety of items to share.

L.A Girl Primer - I have started using this a couple of months ago and I am in love with it. It retails for 40TT. The sales clerk told it was a matte primer and it definitely is. 

L.A. Girl Setting Spray - I decided to but the spary to go along with it. The combination of the two gives my face a nice smooth finish. This also retails for 40TT.

City Color Bold Brow Eyebrow Gel - I decided to try this gel to hold my brows in place because I have some stubborn hairs lol. This is amazing. It firmly holds my eyebrows in place and gives it a nice glossy look. It retails for 20TT.

Selfie Light - The phone that I currently have is the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini. The camera quality is not the best especially at night. So I decided to buy this selfie light. It works really well. I purchased it on Ebay and it retails for 2.16 U.S

Milani Eyeshadow Primer - Before I started using this I had the Sacha EyeAdhesive which worked well at first but it was creasing a lot. So I decided to purchase something new and I love it. It doesn't crease and it comes out nude. It retails for 52TT

I am currently on a makeup group on facebook called the caribbean makeup lovers. They were saying that this product is amazing so I decided to give a try. It comes out like a marker. The best thing to use to do winged eyeliner. It retails for 20TT

I bought this dress for my birthday from Sammy Dress but it didn't make it in time so I wore it to my cousin's birthday event instead. It retails for 7.12 U.S. Excuse the garbage lol.

I am obsessed with nail polishes. So I decided to purchase a few in gel because it stays on longer than ordinary nail polishes. They retail for 15TT each

I am currently this colour on my nails and toes.

I needed a new wallet. So I purchased this small one. It has a lot space but its also neat and compact. It retails for 115TT 

I love buying new phone cases. So I purchased thes on Ebay. One is just a back cover and the other is a wallet case. They retail for 5 U.S

I am obsessed with taking selfies so I know for sure this will come in handy. It works great and it retails for 60TT

Embarrasing School Story

In the light of the upcoming new school term, I would like to share with you all an embarrassing school story from the first primary school I attended.


One morning when i was in standard 3, i had fitness cereal for breakfast and im not sure if i ate too much but when i got to school i was feeling upset and the assembly was going on so i didn't know what to do so i just stood there and i vomited infront the entire assembly and everybody just stared at me. Until one of my friends rushed me to the back of the school where the sinks were to help me clean up. A while after my form teacher carried me to the staff room and helped me clean up the rest. It was so embarassing lol.


I know it was a pretty short story but when it was happening it felt like the embarrassment wouldn't end. I hope you all have a great new school term.

A Memory - Graduation 2010

Good Morning. I have finished secondary school six (6) years ago. It doesn't feel like if it has been so long. I wanted to share some pictures from my graduation night. I have a lot more but I just decided to share five of them.

5 life hacks for back to school

Good Morning. It is almost time for back to school. In my country all schools start the same day which is the first monday in September. I want to share with you all some back to school life hacks that definitely worked for me.

1. When I am learning something I speak to myself as if I am teaching it. It helped me to remember it as I was speaking it out loud.

2. Always have an emergency kit. You never know when you will need something last minute whether it is the time of the month or you have a headache. 

3. Have a homework caddy. This sound kind of childish but it can be used by anyone whether they are in a college or it can even be used be in a home office. When it time for me to do homework or a list I am always looking for a pencil or pen and I can never find one. So to be more organized you can have a homework/desk caddy.

4. You can put a picture of your class schedule as your lock screen for the first few weeks of school.

5. You can colour code your notebook to easily grab the right one.
