Movie Reviews: Perfect Match & Barbershop: The Next Cut

PERFECT MATCH

When the trailer for the Perfect Match premiered I was sold on seeing this movie. It had a bunch of my favourite actors/actresses put together in one show. I decided to take my mom to go see it. The movie was full of comedy & romance. I love Dascha Polanco in Orange is The New Black so I was excited to see her in this movie and she was great. The movie was a bit short though, I was expecting more and I thought the ending would have been different. But I still enjoyed it. I would rate it a 7/10.

BARBERSHOP: THE NEXT CUT

I had the same reaction when I saw the trailer for this movie. I was sold & it had my favourite actors/actresses. I went with my mom, my sister & some of her school friends. Nicki Minaj was the highlight of this movie. Every scene she was in she had me laughing. I also like the message the movie portrayed as well. They were speaking about the challenges African Americans face on a daily basis. It was an inspiring & uplifting movie. I would rate it 7/10.

Bootleggers Restaurant & Bar

My cousin, my friend & I decided last minute to go out last week Sunday. We initially planned on seeing a movie but thought it would finish too late so we decided to get something to eat & drink. It was a night to remember. I had the best birthday weekend ever. Thanks to my family & friends.

Birthday Celebration

My birthday was on Friday the 29th of April. I was going to TGIF for dinner with the girls but when we got there it was a long wait for a table so we ended up going to a restuarant called Zanzibar and afterwards I met up some family members and headed to a club called Rossco's. My birthday was definitely a success. I really enjoyed myself. I didn't take much pictures because I was living in the moment and enjoying it.

Birthday Hair

I initially wanted crochet braids for my birthday but they were expensive and I had to buy like six or seven packs. It would have come up to way too much money. So I decided to go with this instead. It's not the best quality of hair and it tangles really fast. I am upset about that but I really like it.

Hey guys!!!. I haven't done my nails in a long while so I decided that I wanted to get them done for my birthday. I wanted something really simple. My dress has burgundy in it and I'm wearing gold accessories so I decided to go with those two colours.
